A Rose is a Rose

We had a request for a sign in a rose color. Wow, do you know how many different "roses" there are? I didn't until now. This is the color Kris chose, and it turned out a really sweet, peachy rose.

Friend Are Friends Forever

My friend recently moved away, and this is the sign we made for her as a going away present. The green is a little more moss, rather than mint, as it appears in the picture.

Miss you, Jessica!

Jacob's Promise

This is a sign we made for a friend whose son was born just this past Monday. The scripture is a promise that God made Jacob in Genesis. I know this promise belongs to this new little Jacob as well.

Remember To Take Pictures!

We have not been very good about taking pictures of our signs before delivering them, which explains why we have so few samples to show! I'm trying to work on that. Here are two signs we did for a friend for Christmas gifts she wanted to give to her friend with two girls.

This is a great combination. I love the "Garden Fairy" green background with the chocolate writing. I am also happy with the font combination. It turned out to be a pretty yet fun sign for a beautiful and spirited little girl.
This is the second time we've done a pink background with black writing. I'm never sure I'm going to like it when we get started, but it does make a striking contrast.

Merry Christmas!!

One of My Favorites!

This is a sign we did for Kris' cousin's little boy months ago, and I finally got a picture of it today at their house when we went for a visit. The colors are a great combination, and it especially looks nice on the green walls in his bedroom.

This is a sign we made for a friend's little boy. It is one that is very popular, and we often have requests for this color combination, font and scripture.

In the Beginning...

It all began with the idea of speaking a blessing over our boys. We love to speak God's heart to them. So having God's purposes for their lives continually declared in the art hanging on their wall seemed like a great idea! And why not share by making these signs for friends and family? We knew that other parents, grandparents and friends would like this idea as well. That is the meaning of Declarations Wall Decor.

In lieu of a traditional website, we have decided to start a blog site. We will try to update with photos of each sign we create to give an idea of the options available. Remember that we can work with any ideas that you may have. We love new suggestions!
